Here is my latest post! Yes, again every thing you see here is completely made from digital font (letters). I am working on a new storyline based on these girls getting thrown out of Mother Gooses fairytale. AND, Yes, I did research Japan Goth to create them. Enjoy!!

Dog Pile

This is the piece that will be entered in the artshow in Monterey,Ca. It is blown up and framed by 14x 18in. It will be sold for 1,200.00. It is completely made from letters from digital font. The "S's" can be seen in the tails and fins, W's and V's are the teeth and pectoral fins O's for the eyes. I had 20 random strangers pick from 7 pieces, and the majority of them chose this art piece. A panel of three judges will decide which art will be in the show as well as the peoples choice. Wish me luck!!!
Peace, D

Evolution Creature

While I am about to eat breakfast, and pack some boxes... here is another ceramic piece I did. In my thought process, I was thinking about how we all evolved to what we are now. I probably watched the discovery channel right before this moment. So I created this 4 legged creature in a reptile shaped body. I used porcelain, and once again horse hair for the black veins. Cheers

The Goblin King Mask

Since I am in the middle of moving and can not draw for now, I will share some of the mediums I do on the side for fun. I was really hooked on the movie, "Labrynth." I was always a fan of Jim Hensons work before he passed. His Goblin designs inspired me to make this mask. I used recycled clay, burned the side of the mask with sand, burned the other side using horse hair to get that black vein appearence. LOL, no horses were harmed during this side project.

Winged Dragon Critter

I drew this back in 2008 sometime. This is the first digital concept where I used only digital font letters, numbers, and sybmbols. Here you can see the "V" in both wings, "S" in both the horns/ears, "O" for the eyes, "D" for the mouth and used in the inner eyes, "and two "J" for the tails. I now draw/ink this way using this newly found digital concept. I am moving in a couple of weeks, so this will be the only post until January. Hmm this "Moving ordeal sparks my creative thoughts...See you all very soon,LOL!"
